This morning I went to Dish Anywhere to view Olympics. I was using Chrome Browser with asked to download something to view. (It was the first time using Chrome) Dish anywhere launched, worked for about 3 minutes then got loud static noise and then BSOD.

I tried restore point from yesterday, that did not work, tried repair from Win disk, and memory check, that did not work. Ran Chkdsk with no errors.

I can get into windows on regular basis, but about 40 seconds after desktop loads, BSOD happens again.

It looks like your AV is the problem. It looks like you have Norton. Make a system restore point, uninstall Norton, then install Microsoft Security Essentials. If things work the way they should, keep using Essentials. MSE is just as good as any paid AV (In the opinion of many here)

Thanks for the reply Rich. I logged on this morning to post I figured it out late last night. You were correct that it was Norton causing the issue. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it.

Glad that I could help. Sometimes those BSODS are really a problem, but yours was fairly straight forward.
