BSOD - stop: 0x0000001E

I hope someone can help, im really stuck with this problem.

The full error is - stop: 0x0000001E (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

To add to the crash, my pc them does not restart. Sometime i have to leave it for an hour or overnight before it will boot. All i hear is the fan's but there's nothing on to screen.

When the Pc does boot ok (it of course goes through all the checks you get after a crash) it can be anything from 1minute to 2 hours and it will crash again. This makes it difficult to actually work on it.

I'll do my best to upload a dump file as soon as i can (typing from a laptop right now).

So far i have tried the following (with various help by searching on google).

Reinstalling windows.

Returned my mobo, cpu and Ram to the shop (was bought as a bundle), all tested fine.

Assuming it could only be my graphics card, i have bought a new one. I also bought a new PSU.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.



To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Thanks zig zag. I couldnt upload the dump file cus my pc refused to boot up.

As i said the mobo/ram/cpu had been taken to the shop and tested ok.

But i removed 1 stick of RAM anyway and my pc has booted fine and not crashed in the last 12hours.

I have enabled the minidumps as instructed, so if the crashes persist i'll post here. But other wise, thanks for your time.
