BSOD system restore displays error (0x80070005)

I was working on my computers stupid charging port when the thing turned on. Everything worked fine so I turned it back off and put everything back together. When I tried to reboot it it goes directly to the system startup repair which fails and brings me to the recover manager. I have tried everything in the recovery manager from recovering the system to restoring it and nothing works. When I try to recover it I am given the error (unspecified error occurred during system restore 0x0070002) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome rtsmith can you boot to safe mode (tap F8 on power up) if so run a scannow.

ICit2lol- No the system will not do anything i can take the hard drive out and connect it to the desktop and go through the whole system but I would have no clue how to fix it from there either. If you have any advice for that in which may be the easiest way that would be greatly appreciated otherwise I have no clue what to do. The system wont recognize my system images or repairs that im trying to introduce to it through a external hard drive.I am lost for a solution.

Ok go ahead and do that and see if the running system will let you "see" the drive.
You can use the Partition Wizard to explore what is on the drive and even run a security scan on that drive alone.

Do you have much data on that drive??

Security Scan? I have browsed through the hard drive a little to see what all was on it. so i know i can view it.

Well run a surface test on the thing then with the wizard as whatever you were playing with has done something to the drive.

If it has corrupted files and stuff then maybe retrieve some of the important data and you may have to do a reinstall, after wiping the drive.

Ok I will try that tomorrow. I have it back in the Laptop now and its letting me run some test it let me do a start up test and im runing a Run-in test right now.
