10 days ago I logged into my admin account and I ran Restore to earlier 'Restore Point'. It appeared to finish successfully and so I logged out. I have been working on my PC since then without any major problems but being logged into my 'normal' account without the admin privileges.
Last night I logged back into my admin account and was greeted by a window saying "System Restore did not complete successfully. Your computer files and settings were not changed. Details: An unspecified error occurred during System Restore. (0xc0000043)". It recommends restoring to a different restore point. The most frustrating thing is that the message is not time stamped so I have not idea when it appeared. I tried to find anything in the system log but did not find anything relevant. I then ran system files checker and that told me that everything is OK. Not sure what is the best way to proceed
. Any suggestions?
