Hi, entirely new to the forums, so please be patient with me =).
So my computer started being slow I think a week ago, then last night, as I was playing League of Legends (I was actually about to exit the game and sleep) the computer started being unresponsive, I waited a few mins because Firefox always make my computer lag, after a few unresponsive minutes the bsod appeared, rebooted and then a disk check appeared. After that I resumed operations (surfing the net and playing league of legends again ) only to find out my torrents got deleted, but that was not the problem, after 2 games of LoL , it started being unresponsive again, I held the power button and only failed to power off the computer, so I unplugged it, rebooted and got stuck on the windows splash screen a few times so I decided to call it a day and sleep. Present day, I proceeded to boot the PC but only got stuck on the black screen with the blinking underscore (where it finds the OS when you press tab) then got error loading operating system, I decided to reboot a few times in an attempt to bring up startup repair, and pressing tab and other keys only made the PC beep. Getting impatient I decided to open the case and swapped the internal with my aunt's internal hdd(her PC was broken) in an effort to open windows and download a Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit Iso and make it usb Bootable (as I don't have an optical drive, because it won't open when plugged in the PC) but I failed again, I then decided to clean the inside since I already opened the case, then swapped the hard drive ribbons (idk what it's called) and failed again, in agony I returned the original wires and closed the case, and when I booted it, it now says operating system not found, rebooted then went to the BIOS settings and found out that the internal hdd was now undetected.
Are there solutions for this problem (besides replacing the hdd, which is a Seagate 80gb)? Any help would be highly appreciated :banghead:
