So, a while back I bought an SSD and reinstalled windows to it and I haven't had BSOD problem since. Prior to buying the SSD, I was getting BSOD pretty frequently upon wake up and cold start. After replacing the SSD, I upgraded a few more parts which include: a gtx 970 up from a gtx 660 and i upgraded the PSU from a bad rosewill to a corsair cx600; along with the case. Around New Years I started noticing a problem, the PC would randomly restart and then there would be no display when it turns back on, it would wake up on it's own and sometimes even cold start on its own. So what I did, was rewire the mess of wires I had into my wall. A surge into a surge which is where the PC was plugged into. The problem, for the most part, seemed to subside with some minor occurrences while playing borderlands. So, yesterday I put my pc to sleep and it just won't wake up. I push the power button, it flickers on for a second and turns off then I decided to open the case, and try the power button on the mother board and it was like starting fans and stuff for a split second and nothing would happen. I ended finagling with the power wire that goes into the MOBO and then the pc started to get power again.
This is when the BSOD started to happen. I would start, it'd run for a few minutes then BAM BSOD. Nothing really seems to trigger it, it's just random. So I finally get it to start and I start to play diablo for a couple of hours, I put it to sleep for the night and nothing out of the ordinary happened. I left my house at 830 am nothing but I got home at 230pm and my PC was on with no signal to the monitor (DVI Dual Link). Then I have to hard reboot and it says windows didn't shut down correctly or whatever. I take a look at my event viewer and I see a few critical errors that have to do with the kernel-power (HERES: A SCREEN OF THE EVENT VIEWER http://puu.sh/eTbfh/87a3778e4f.png).
