Hi,

I get a new BSOD daily and it is driving me crazy, i thought it was first my CCTV software but i have tried three now and they all have the same affect. Every morning when i wake up my PC has crashed. I am starting to think hardware but want some definitive answers before i start spending more money.

Any help is really appreciated as haven't got a clue how to analyse the BSOD dump.

PC Spec:

Windows 7 Pro
Intel pentium G3258 CPU
MSI G-45 motherboard

Hello Jones.

Please run the DM-log collector again, we can't work with only the dmp files, it is a good start but not enough!

Cheers, Boris :)

You have had quite some crashes, lets make sure it is not the RAM that is involved.

Diagnostic Test

 RAM TEST

arrow.png
Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

   Note
picture.php

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

Please run these:

chkdsk

sfc /scannow

Code:
BugCheck D1, {fffff80000e7d4f0, 2, 8, fffff80000e7d4f0}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for e22w7x64.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for e22w7x64.sys
Probably caused by : e22w7x64.sys ( e22w7x64+73ff )

The above e22w7x64.sys is a driver for your Killergaming Ethernet/wireless adapter, please go to MSI support and download and install the latest version available:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z97-G45-GAMING.html#down-driver&Win7%2064

Also there were some dump files that didn't point to a specific driver but did say memory corruption so it might be smart to run memtest86+ just as a precaution!

There was also one BSOD pointing to your graphics card drivers, please visit AMD support download page:

Ill try that thanks, last time i tried it however it displayed the results off the screen. The text was all right offset, i tried changing screen settings etc and even a spare screen and the same result. Is there a way to see results upon boot into windows ?

But will download and try again.

Drivers for graphics card and motherboard are up to date. I have heard lots of problems with the built in ethernet on this motherboard though..

Thanks guys !

Update:

Ran Memtest for 14 hours and 50 minutes yesterday which was 6 passes, with 0 errors. So would appear my RAM is ok?

As suggested memtest86+ needs to be performed for a minimum of 8 consecutive completed passes.

I know you said 8 but i have read lots of different opinions 2 passes, 10,8,1 doesn't seem to be a fixed standard. I figured 14 hours of testing was enough, plus i needed to work on the PC. If you still believe it is the RAM i could try and find a day when its possible to run 18+ hours to do the 8 passes but it is a pain with it being unusable for that length of time.

What are your other lines of though regarding possible issues?

Thanks for the help !

There are no fixed standard because there are people who find different things standard, we believe at least 8 completed passes is the minimum requirement, any less is not enough to determine that the memory is fine or faulty.

I have updated BIOS, Checked all drivers relating to the motherboard, Audio, lan etc etc and all up to date. Ran chkdsk and sfc/scannow

I will run another memtest tomorrow and aim to complete 8 passes or more.
