BSOD when Chrome or Firefox is in use, unexpected shutdowns as well

Hello,

I am using an aged Acer laptop for quite a while and I didn't update its drivers for a while, but lately its driving me crazy with shutdowns and BSODs. I am not sure what's causing it, I am using drivermax to update its drivers but couldn't solve the problem as yet, you can see the crashlog attached as txt file, any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

The problem of your BSOD is your touchpad. Upgrade to the latest driver for it.

Wow! Thank you very much both for the warm welcome and the quick answer.

I have updated my mouse drivers and for the moment all seems fine, I'll mark as solved after 1 day of use.

I think it is safe to say that the problem is solved, one day of usage and no BSOD at all.

so sorry, another BSOD, this time while using word :/ I think I might need to ditch this laptop and get a new one.

This time is it caused by hardware. Run Memtest http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
