Hello,

About a few months ago, I built myself my own computer, specifically for gaming. Ever since then, my computer always has errors going on. One of my main concerns that I get is when I am gaming and the BSOD appears. It always has something to do with Atikmap.sys for some reason. I have tried uninstalling amd drivers and reinstalling them. I have even tried newer versions of the drivers. Just recently I wiped my computer clean to try to see if I could fix it, but it didn't work. I have attached a dm log collector above, so you can see whats possibly causing my issues.
(P.S., I'm not sure if this has anything to do with this, but abotu once every five minutes, my screen freezes and I get a message saying, "display driver stopped responding, and has recovered." )

Thank you for all your help!,

Not that it matters but what game are you playing when it bsods? So you kinda figured it out. You have tried all possible drivers and you have tried a clean windows install. Has to be the video card is malfunctioning. That is without looking at the log or anything.
Reseating it might be worth a try. Otherwise, i would start the exchange/rma process.

Hi!

Thank you so much for responding! I tried resetting my card and I even out it through a stress test. I used Furmark, and it didn't crash. I wonder why it keeps crashing in games though...:(

Reseating means taking the card out and reinserting it firmly.

Woops I meant reseat, anyway that didn't work...The main games I play are MW2, Black Ops, and Flight Simulator X. It seems to be happening more during FSX.
