BSOD when playing most games, some exceptions

Hello all,

I have just created an account on this forum for this specific problem.
5 days ago (thereabouts) our new computer was delivered.
It's a powerful, custom built gaming computer, yet it fails at the thing it was designed to do: play games.
All of these games worked fine on my old XP, but ran badly.
On this new Windows 7 64 bit it is the opposite. The games run brilliantly, then crash.
This is very frustrating for me, because I do not expect a computer of this power to do such a thing.
However, there is an exception:
any games that do not run a 3D engine usually do not crash (Such as FTL: Faster Than Light).
Unfortunately, Minecraft also eventually crashes the computer.
he crashing is random, but will happen eventually, unless I quit the game.
If you need my system specs, tell me where to find them and I will either edit this thread and put them in, or post a reply with the specs.
Also, one thing I have noticed:
I am not sure, but the computer is saying something about an Nvidia Driver error.
Also, I cannot install SP1, as the Readiness Tool does not install either.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope the problem can be fixed soon, as I am becoming frustrated.

P.S: I have just activated Do not Automatically Restart. I will post a crash if I can.

In order to help you we will need the crash dumps

Please can you add your systems specs to your profile? Here's how:

Also please reconfigure windows to collect the correct info
You want small memory dumps - "MiniDumps"

Thank you for the quick reply.
I will do as the posts instruct, then edit this post to show any information about my computer I can find.
EDIT: I attempted to find my system specs using the .exe that you posted. Unfortunately it came up with an error about not having the correct (or any) version of the .net Framework.
EDIT 2: Memory Dump is set, it will log on next crash.
EDIT 3: No downloads for the SF_Diagnostics_tool? I do not understand where to download it.

Unfortunately you need Win SP1 installed in order to install .net Framework, which you stated that you cannot install yet.

Alternatively you can fill them out manually by clicking on "User CP" at the top of the page, and selecting from the menu on the left "edit system specs"

I found that out just before you said it - unfortunately I can't find where it put the file. I'm going to re-run it.

On your desktop

5. You will now have a folder saved on your Desktop with the name of SF_DD_MM_YYYY (SF_day_month_year) that includes the information from each button in the tool.

Unfortunately not the case - I can't seem to find the file anywhere. It just doesn't exist :/

Try running as an administrator by right clicking on program icon and run as admin.

Also tried - when I didn't, the program just came up with an error.

Ive just ran it and it took me a couple of trys, Run as Admin, click graball and wait until each new window appears and click "ok" until it finishes?

Im afraid your installation is counterfeit.

It has been activated using a well known Lenovo "blacklisted" key.

You will need to reinstall Windows 7 using Genuine media.

My dad got this from his work, they all use it just fine!

What do you mean?
Gigabyte is fine... isn't it?

P.S: It IS in fact conterfeit, but not as you think. My dad's work mistakenly bought a version of Windows 7 that was for UPDATES - nothing else. There are vital files missing in System32 that cause the computer to BSOD when playing games.
