Hi
I am currently having a problem that has been driving me mental recently.
My computer keeps automatically restarting whenever I play a game even for a short while sometimes even happening when I launch a program. It started while i was playing diablo 3 and has recently occurred in most other games i play. The problem seems to involve local\Temp\WER-40201-0.sysdata.xml and other such files.

I will attach the most recent crash dumps if it of any help.
Additional information:
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU X 980 @ 3.33GHz
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. X58A-UD3R
8.00 GB Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580

Any help will be appreciated and please inform me if any additional information is required
Regards

Welcome to the forum, hopefully we can help you out.

Not being a PC Guru I am not even going to bother with your Attached file because I don't understand them anyway. All I can suggest is the following.

  • Make sure you have all the latest updates from Windows
  • Clean your temp files with CCleaner or similar App.
  • Download the latest drivers for your Audio and Video cards and save them to a Temp Folder where you can get to it later.
  • Uninstall your Audio drivers from either Control Panel or Device Manager but do not restart. Do the same with your Video driver and restart this time around.
  • Once you are back on your desktop clean your temp files again and your registry if you want (most people have reservations about registry cleaning).
  • Go to your temp folder and right click on the audio .exe file (Run as Admin), if it asks you to restart, don't... proceed to do the same with the Nvidia Video driver and make sure to click on the option to do a Clean or Complete Install. Now, if you don't have any 3D apps don't bother installing those drivers and continue on... do restart at the end even if it does not ask you to do so.
Let us know if this helps
