Solved Bsod when plugging in headphones

Hey guys, I'm being plagued with BSODs yet again.

However, they almost always happen whenever I plug in my headphones to the audio jack
on the front of my case. Note: I've been using these headphones for months with this computer and have had no issues.

I recently got a new motherboard and reinstalled windows, so I'm not sure if that messed anything up.
My audio driver for the headphones is Realtek by ASUS.

Do you have a OEM or a Retail version of Wondows 7?

Did you get proper activation of Windows 7 after replacing the motherboard?

I believe it was OEM - this is what I bought.

And yes, I did activate Windows.

Did you install this new bought Windows 7 on your new motherboard first or on your old motherboard first?

I installed it on the old one first, which was an AsRock z87 extreme6.

My new one is an asus z97 pro.

If you have a OEM/SLP or OEM Builders it is only legal on the first motherboard it was installed on.
You might get help from Microsoft if you call them.
