Hello Windows 7 Community,

I am having a problem with a novatel usb760 aircard modem. I installed this device properly. The drivers, and firmware updates all installed successfully. I was able to use it fine right after installation. The next day when I plugged it into my usb port, I got a bluescreen immediately. I tried it in other ports and the same happened. I have used this device on another laptop, and it works absolutely fine, no issues at all. Other USB devices work fine on my laptop. It seems to just happen with this one. I have no clue how to go about fixing this, so I hope one of you more computer-savvy individuals will be able to. :D

Attached is the set of files that I believe is requested with any BSOD problem. Thank you so much for any help.

Hi, thanks for responding.

I went ahead and removed the driver. I put the usb aircard into another jack and it was recognized, but removing that driver made one of the usb ports inactive, if that makes sense. It's sort of just "dead". However the bluescreen is gone. So out of 3 usb ports, i have 2 that are working, and one dysfunctional.

Glad that we got rid of the BSODs
Go to search by the start button. Type device manager. Do you see any small yellow markers, if so update. If not update the usb drivers

There is a yellow marker next to Universal Serial BUS (USB) Controller. I went ahead and tried to update, automatically through windows and it said it couldn't find any drivers. I guess I'll have to manually look for some?

Open up the USB icon (click on the little arrow). It will give the name of the company that manufactured them, mine is Intel. Go to the company website and update.
