BSOD when Sleep/Hibernate

Hi.

Here are the requested pieces of info:

My OS: Windows 7
-x86
-full retail version

My Laptop:
-Dell D820 about 3 years old
-OS is relatively new (~1 month old) installed when I got a new hard drive.

BSOD info:
-Happens when I try to "Sleep" or "Hibernate"
-Screen goes dark but the laptop is still on for about 5-10 mins until it shuts off
-On next reboot, I'm told that there's been a BSOD

In an effort to expedite a response I did three (random)of the crashes. They all point to your File name: netw5v32.sys. Author:Intel Corporation. Production:Intel? Wireless WiFi Link. I would suspect the others do as well. The actual cause is the device taking too long to respond. That is usually a driver issue and they are the easiest to check and repair.

I would download the newest possible driver and install it.

Let us know if the BSOD's continue and if they do upload the DMP files to us

Hi Ken. Wow. Thanks for the prompt response. I've updated to the latest intel wireless drivers for my 3945ABG wireless card. If the intel wireless driver is the real cause of the crash, then would you suspect that my disabling the wireless card will get rid of the BSODs?

BSOD continues

I have the lastest drivers from Intel. Just uninstalled the network wifi card and updated drivers to the July 2010 release.

My BSOD issue still exists whenever I try to sleep or hibernate. I've updated my bios as well as installed the latest intel wifi drivers. Any help would be appreciated. Check out my previous posting with the latest dump.

If the intel wireless driver is the real cause of the crash, then would you suspect that my disabling the wireless card will get rid of the BSODs?

Yes, you may want to try this at some point to be sure that it is the cause.
