BSOD when using Autodesk Revit 2017

I am a Designer/IT associate in a engineering firm and since about middle of July 2017 we have been experiencing BSODs when using the Autodesk Revit software. Specifically when panning/zooming or placing details on sheets nothing major in CPU or graphics processing requirements. Our Workstations far exceed system requirements for Autodesk products and I have tested Memory, HDs and Video cards and drivers and this same thing happens on any random workstation that works on a specific project that uses a specific Revit template. I have worked with Autodesk techs through their forums and they are telling me it is a Windows specific error with a recent update. I removed that update and the issue was resolved on the first workstation that experienced this issue (the only workstation which worked on the specific project) but others (after working on the specific project) are now doing it even after the update was removed. I know it is Revit causing the crash and not that Revit has the issue but something being processed through the page file(?) from Revit crashes Windows I'm guessing. I am at a complete loss I have exhausted my known avenues of possible resolutions and search the internet to no avail. I have a Dump file but it is 1GB. So I renamed it and next time it crashes I should have a new smaller dump file I can upload at that time.

Hello and welcome Victor mate two things I/we would like to know
a) you mention a memtest but as we only recommend one memtest can you let us know if it is the same (see this)
Now to make absolutely we are on the same page the memtest linked here is the only *one we recommend and it MUST be run for at least 8 passes or you may as well not bother. It is rather lengthy and best left for a downtime for that machine - overnight is good. Having said that you can stop the test if errors show up while you are around and then it is a matter of tracking down the bad stick of RAM.* RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Help Forums
(This is pretyped to save time)

b) can you please run these so that we can see the dump files
Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD - Windows 7 Help Forums
&
Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions - Windows 7 Help Forums

Lets see these and then we can go from there.

After removing the questionable Windows update, if that didn't fix the problem, uninstall and reinstall Revit. Something might have gotten corrupted in Revit when that update was installed.

Of course, you need to block/hide that particular update so that it doesn't try to install again.

I will gladly try the different memtest but this problem happens succinctly with the same project on multiple machine which some are now working fine. Certainly could be memory but on several machines coinciding with the same project? I will get the Memory dump once this happens again. What type is needed Mini or Kernel or Complete?

Now I am still wondering what memtest you used Jim and I personally would like to see some of those dumps for BSOD's

Now I am still wondering what memtest you used Jim

I didn't use a memtest; I guessed that something might have gotten hosed in Revit; that's why I suggested a reinstall of Revit - it wouldn't hurt anything to do a reinstall, and it might solve the problem.
