Solved BSOD when using Windows Media Player - IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL error

Please may you assist me with the BSOD, the OS is usually crashing when using Windows Media Player to view a DVD, the PC will also crash from time to time without warning when the system is idle and the display may freeze when gaming ie. playing FFW.
I have upgraded the memory to 8GB, which was only 4GB previously, and monitoring the stability of the OS for now.

FYI, I have evaluated that the additional RAM delayed the BSOD for a few more hours and unfortunately it did not solve the issue. This has only started during the past week, recently.

This is abnormal, it is becoming more and more empty...

Diagnostics Test

 System File Check

Please try following:

• Open an admin command prompt
• Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
• When it finished reboot your system
• Open again an admin command prompt
• Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Your Windows installation is heavily corrupted, I suggest that you try below tutorial to repair Windows.

When the repair install has finished, follow above instructions for System File Check again please.

I decided to do a Clean Install, and appreciate all your advice.
