Generally I surf the net with PaleMoon browser or I access Outlook 2013 as my email client. That's pretty much all I do on my PC.

2 BSOD's today. Starting getting them about 2 weeks ago. Created the attached uploaded files shortly after the last BSOD.

Hello, winsome and welcome to the Forums. I will see if I can help you with this error. First I would like you to fill out your system specs in as much detail as possible. We often have to look up components, so Manufacturer and Model is important. This may help you do that. Please also upload everything here.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html

Please fill out your System Specs

   Information
Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible.

If you will go to your last post and click the 'System Specs' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

Have you installed any new software or hardware lately? I am seeing a lot of errors related to Dell Data Safe Local Backup or Dell scheduling. Please make sure all of your Windows Updates are installed and current. This is what I am getting from your dump files although they are not very definitive.

Code:
fffff880`0732e4c8 fffff880`04200000Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\avgntflt.sys, Win32 error 0n2

 avgntflt

That is your Avira Antivirus.

Please open an elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

Please let us know the outcome.

I updated my systems specs and listed my latest installed programs. The screenshots are attached to my Opening Post. I ran Windows Updates and 2 new important and 6 new optional updates were installed. My Windows Updates is configured to install automatically (it's been like that for quite some time).

Windows Resource Protection (ran as admin) did not find any integrity violations (on the first scan).

Your Avira AV again

Lets try removing your Avira with uninstall a program then run the Avira removal utility Avira AntiVir Removal Tool - Download and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials (Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows) and see if that improves the situation.

Good job. Superantispyware is a good program, if run as an on demand scanner.

Yes I like SuperAntiSpyware but I thought there might be a conflict with MS Security Essentials. I gather you are saying that I can continue to use it as long as I don't run it on a scheduler. Correct?

Tell me about PaleMoon Browser. Is it a Firefox like browser? I ask because I see plugin container listed as a contributor of sorts. That is very much a Firefox design. All the add ons are put in a 'container' with the purpose being that if one add on crashed it wouldn't crash the whole browser. From my understanding, it hasn't worked out very well for them.

You are also getting a lot of Windows errors from STService.EXE, which is a Dell Data Safe or Dell Sceduler nd often causes problems.

I couldn't find much from the dumps

Code:
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
BugCheck 50, {fffffa900395a130, 0, fffff80003212a5e, 5}

Could not read faulting driver name
Probably caused by : [COLOR=red]Pool_Corruption[/COLOR] ( nt!ExDeferredFreePool+192 )
Followup: Pool_corruption

Please run Seatools for DOS http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/313457-seatools-dos-windows-how-use.html#Part3. Please run both the short and long test.

Please let me know the results and if you have any more BSODs. If you do, please run the same

I don't know much about it. It's supposed to be a leaner version of Firefox. I've been using it for a year or more. If you want to recommend a different browser I'd be happy to know your choice.

I have never used Dell Data Safe. I'd like to uninstall it if that makes my PC run better.

It is showing a lot of errors, from a file usually a part of Dell Data or Dell Scheduler or one of the Dell Utilities. It was made by a third party, But Dell rebranded it like they do everything else. If it were mine, everything named Dell would be gone, but that's just me.

What you are saying about Pale Moon makes sense. I'm sure they kept the Firefox architecture and just removed some of the features and such.

PaleMoon
I really have no experience with Pale Moon. I do with Chrome, Firefox, ie and several others, but I would suggest that if you do change, do not switch to Firefox as it appears they both have the same architecture and are basically the same, under the hood. If you know what I mean.

PaleMoon
I'm still on Pale Moon and I've had no further issues. So looks like it was something I uninstalled that was causing the problem (Avira, DriverUpdate, or the Dell Utilities). Thanks essenbe for all your help. Before I found this site I thought I'd have to buy a new PC. Maybe I'm good for a while now.

That's great news. I'm glad you have it working as you like it. You are more than welcome for whatever help I gave. I hope to see you back here often, and not because you are having problems. This site has a wealth of information. Congratulations.
