Solved BSOD while computer sat idle, 0x8000000000000002

[Sorith]

Nothing was "visibly" open and I left my computer on while I went to take a shower. I came back and found myself a BSOD.

I am not sure what would of caused this problem but the mini-dump is attached.

Please advise

Ok so I ran the test,

This is the results I got. (I uploaded a pic)

As well here is the log it mentioned in the CMD but wasnt able to really tell if it ment anything. (uploaded)

Restart,dont use or open any other program and run one more time the System File Checker

Sometimes is necessary to run 2-3 times the sfc to fix everything.

Finish and post back the results.

K I ran it 3 more times and same results. :/

First if its possible Backup everything important.(work files,photos...)

(The repair install will repair your windows,normally you will not lose anything from your personal files,though a back is always a good idea)

Then read carefully this tutorial and run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

Hi,

I just recently had a similar problem. The problem for me was a RAM module being faulty. If all else fails, maybe you could run a Memory test on each RAM module one by one. Alot of the istructions can be found on the thread i posted. Heres the link! Good luck!
