Bsod while gaming

Hi, i'm gonna try and do this from the start when i got my pc.
when i first got the pc i've been having bsod randomly always different kinds of bsod, my pc is a self build pc and after a few months figuring out what causes those bsod's i bought a new cpu cause when building the pc one of the pins of the cpu broke and i tought that would solve the problem but it didnt still gotten the same bsod. so after that i searched some more in a few forums and did a memtest it appeared that one of my Dimm slots where faulty so i bought the same motherboard model but it didnt solve it i still get different kinds of bsod's. i went to a friend that worked as pc technician and he did a memtest with at and he found out my ram was faulty too found it weird cause i did a memtest and didnt find a single error on my ram itself only one dimslot of the motherboard but i decided to buy new ram so a few days ago i bought new ram. i also did a clean install of windows and it worked for 2 days. but now i'm having bsod s again but this time it was always the same bsod, i think it was Dxgmms1.sys i found out it was related to directx and after searching i found out it could be my video drivers,my video drivers where up to date but i read on a forum that catalyst 11.6 could cause those bsod so i dowwngraded to 11.5 i didnt get the bsod again but another bsod occured irq not less or more something like that after debugging it the problem was caused by ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KiTryUnwaitThread+28 ). i always get it while playing a game world of warcraft now sometimes the game freezes and i have to reboot manually sometimes i get a black screen and have to reboot manually and sometimes it freezes and goes in to the bsod. So now i'm a little bit desperate cause i really dont know whats going on with this pc i changed half of my pc i tested my videocard in my friend his system for a week and he didnt get any problems with it. ive updated my bios to the latest version also updated my via hd deck from the motherboards website. but in game it still freezes. i v attached the health file and bsod v3.3 jcgriff i hope one of you can fix this problem i'm sorry for the long post but i think it was the best way to clearify the problem.

my system specs are Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
Asus M4A78LT-M motherboard
AMD Phenom2 hexa core 3.2ghz with a watercooling system
Kingston value ram 2gb 2installed so 4gb total DDR3 1333 mhz
Gigabyte Ati Radeon HD 6850 series graphic card
Antec 500 watt psu
a harddrive of 1terrabyte

Well, about the psu, I didn't build it myself, a friend did.
It should be the minimum requirement as the graphics card is the most power consuming unit.

Hello Phen, welcome to SF!

Your dumps are with code A... most commonly caused by a faulty device driver, system service, or BIOS.

Please try this:

I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Win7 Startup Repair feature).

In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vista you'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from your installation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that you created.

Edit: Ive just run verifier and it booted up normally, do i have to leave it on desktop or play a game to test it ?

Just run and game like you normally do. Verifier will cause a BSOD with a dump file that gives us extra info when it finds a driver that is not reacting well...

I just played the game and after 5 minutes it freezed also the sound kept on the same tone.
I had to reboot the pc myself so there wasn't any dumpfile made.
Do I have to keep playing till i get a bsod or is the verifier off now i had to reboot manually?

I suggest u to download Driver Sweeper, and uninstall all of the grapic drivers, then install the new versions again.
If the card was replaced once, it is likely to be some left over data.

hi, the card wasnt replaced after i did a few clean installs of windows 7 so i dont think thats causing any problems.
What i did was removig the catalyst 11.6 version and replacing it with 11.5 cause i was having bsod of dxgmms1.sys that reffered to directx and after some research on the internet i came on it that i had to remove the 11.6 and put in the 11.5 because 11.6 could be causing those bsod when i did that the DXgmms1.sys bsod was gone but a other Bsod occured the ones i now have

Should i do the driver sweeper and install 11.5 again or go to 11.6 back but i think the bsod of dxgmms1.sys will come back again if i do that

use driver sweeper and then go with 11.5

What Speedgamer means is that, regretfully, the normal de-install of software does not really delete everything. When you go back to a previous version of software, specially drivers, the system will keep the newest version it already has. That is why we use special driver removers like driversweeper to ensure that everything is removed before we install a new version. If you did not do that in your example then please do.

I just removed the drivers with the sweeper and installed the drivers again but this time when the update was finished it said there where warnings given and the normal green logo from install completed is orange never had this before should i just leave it or install it again i can go in to the logbooks of the instalation but i dont know anything about that

Do you mean at the end of driver sweeper or when you installed the new driver?
I would start over and install new drivers in admin mode (in Safe boot)

it was when installing the new drivers i'l remove it again in safe mode and see if it works

edit : its the same a orange logo and it say there where warnings given with instalation in safe mode should i go to a restore point in windows that i made when backing up ?

Ive made a snapshot with snipping tools of the log and the warning after instalation it is in dutch, but iv seen that you're from the netherlands.

its from the installation of catalyst driver and all of the function control center it opened when i pressed the show log button if thats what u mean ?
