Hi Guys,
I Recently (this weekend) Purchased a new Motherboard and CPU and cooler
(AMD FX-4 4100 BE 3.6GHz + Antec Kuhler H2O 620 - Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3)
After installing the new components i booted up the machine, it started perfectly, a little delay when at desktop as was installing the new drivers, and everything was working fine, when after an hour of listening to music and trying to get my Minecraft server working again (after changing hard drives) it just BSOD.
After that i couldnt open steam, coming up with "Steam.exe (main exception): Cannot open blob archive file : CMultiFieldBlob(mem-mapped file): Failed to open existing file, Win32"
Browsing the web showed me how to correct the problem, by renaming the blob achieve file, but as it was open wouldn't let me, there was nothing running which i could see in task manager processes which could be it, so i rebooted and still got the same error.
Sorry for the long intro.
Which led me to reinstalling my OS from scratch, after fully installed and desktop up all drivers installed, i left it on the desktop while i was playing xbox, and out of no where about 30mins later it BSOD.
after the reboot i ran Prime 95 for 6 hours after which no errors or warnings were reported and no blue screen
Just wondered if there could be any reason for the BSOD?
