Hello,

Last week I've bought a new GPU (R9 290). Today I have been getting some BSOD's and I wonder what is causing it. I might have a hunch, it says (kernel-41) which means my PSU is failing I guess? But I would like to know for sure.

Twice now I went out of a game and was going to facebook and loaded a video from vine and it BSOD. Not sure why hopefully you guys know?

My computer specs are:
CPU i5 2500k
GPU r9 290 sapphire
MOBO p8p67
PSU 750 watt corsair

Is there anything I could do to fix it.

Uninstall your display driver using DDU and install an older version say 13.12 WHQL. See how it goes.

Let us know.

Hello Arc,

Thank you for your reply. I have tried running that driver for like 2 weeks now. Sadly I am still getting some blue screens. I also re installed windows. I am now running driver: 13.251-131206a-165817C-ATI.

So I will put another file down here and hopefully u can help me with it?

It is 13.12 WHQL. And we are seeing that the display issue is occurring with multiple versions of the display driver. Specially the stop 0xA0000001 BSOD which is due to AMD only.

If the GPU is within warranty, try to RMA it. If you have access to any other GPU (not an R9 one), apply it there and see how everything goes.
