Welcome

It looks like the NVIDIA Graphics filter drivers are causing a problem. You may want to reinstall the drivers for your graphic card afresh first by uninstalling them from control panel then delete remnants of the drivers using Driver Sweeper again

No, it does not work, specially it has nothing to do with Video TDR.
Can you tell us the temps? Anything over 60C is not fine.

The highest i saw it get was around 70. I thought about buying a cooling pad, but i really didnt think that was the cause of the blue screens. Alienware wants me to $120 dollare to repair, because they believe it is a software problem.

I can say that i have noticed i can play gw2 longer without a crash when i havnt played for alittle while. If i jump right back in after a crash, i get another one in about five minutes.

If you think it's a software problem, the best way to eliminate that is doing a clean install. Do it and see if the blue screen problems come back. Make sure you have the latest drivers for graphics card, chipset/motherboard drivers, get them from relevant manufacturers websites. Do not install anything tweaking stuff like you mentioned above this post.

Lower the games settings, enhancing them is probably putting the GPU in stress and causing the heat.

BTW, also like to know if this is a knew system and is under its warranty. Does the motherboard have an onboard VGA slot? You'd want to connect or switch to it and see if you're getting these BSODs.

The system is about six months old and is under only a hardware warranty. Apparently nothing is wrong with my hardware. How do I check for the vga on motherboard?

You'll have to boot to your BIOS and change the video settings from there first.

It would be helpful if you have a friend who can lend you their graphics card for a while to play and see if you're getting BSODs/crashes/hangs/heating problem.

Normally on most laptops, you cannot change graphic cards, and it's a big ordeal if you can. I don't play skyrim, but from others I understand it is a pretty demanding game. The symptoms you are describing sound like it is overheating. It does it quickly on a demanding game like skyrim. It takes longer on a less demanding game before it crashes, once you start it back up, it hasn't had a chance to completely cool down and crashes sooner.
