I have run whocrashed a few times and get the following.

You ATI driver has indeed been flagged. Download the latest revision for your card from here then use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the downloaded driver.

   Note
When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

Thank you for the quick reply, I will try all steps one by one (Leaving maybe a day between to monitor the number of crashes) to see which solves it. As for Norton though, i really hope this isn't the cause as I have used it for years.

The only AV we as a team have never seen cause a BSOD is MSE, all others at some point have caused BSODs. Some more often than others.

Thank you, I now have a strange problem, followed the first step but now my monitor plugged into the Display port only show black and white.

I have tried one of my other monitors and that still stays black and white.
(Solve saturation was set as zero, strange)

Try rolling back to an earlier driver, I've got to admit I've never seen that before.

the colour problem was solved but it did mean having to install CCC.
