Solved BSOD While Playing LA Noire

As there is a BIOS update available, apply it.

Also, try to update the device drivers those uses any third party driver. Probably the keyboard and mouse need third party drivers to run.

Apply the latest version of nVidia display driver.
You may download it directly, from our forum link http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-cards/602-latest-nvidia-forceware-video-drivers-windows-7-a.html; or you may opt for the Option 2 of Drivers- Download NVIDIA Drivers for “Automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products” (it requires java installed).

I believe I have updated my 1394 driver to the latest version. I installed the latest Nvidia driver (beta) and scans found no root kits...

I ran into another error while playing Minecraft this time...

Jm, the .dmp's still point to PLTGC. Reference this link to my post #34: http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/273583-bsod-while-playing-la-noire.html#post2310706
There is one new one, new to me concerning your video

Your saying this happened while playing MC, but the .dmp says Borderlands

Still have the headphones plugged in? Even if you don't, and you haven't tried this yet is, remove/uninstall everything related to those gamecon780's, and make sure you have all the fractal audio stuff removed too.

Its getting to a point where you should start thinking about doing a systematic check like done when trying to solve a browser add-on or start program problem. Uninstall everything related to games or gaming, get back to bare bones and stability then start adding one at a time to see what will BSOD your machine.

Use CCleaner or Revouninstaller

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:

Although Nvidia says your latest drivers are WHQL certified the dxdiag report says otherwise, the 32bit side is okay, but the 64bit is not.

I'm not sure whether or not this poses a problem. I posted this question in this thread: http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-cards/602-latest-nvidia-forceware-video-drivers-windows-7-a.html Did you follow the note in that tutorial to update your WEI? If you didn't that can throw things off.
I'll see if Brink can reply here, if there I'll post a link.

You can check if the Steam cache files are okay: Verifying Game Cache Files (GCF)
This brings me to possible corrupt user profiles in L.A.Noire, Borderlands, and Minecraft.

I found out about a possible virus floating in one of those games profiles: PSA: How to Avoid Borderlands 2 'Graveyard.sav' Virus [Updated] - Xbox 360 News At Xbox360Achievements.org now, you may not use Xbox, but that's not to say it couldn't infect your profiles. You will have to check them yourself, you may have to use something like Eset online scanner, and upload each individual games folder to scan.
Here's one on a BL2 site: Graveyard.sav "Viral Infections" [FAQ] [Video] - The Gearbox Software Forums

And, when I say corrupted it can also mean the Social Club in L.A.Noire, see this thread for more: Green Man Gaming Forums / Technical Talk / L.A Noire - Licence Corrupted, and other files, for example .pfil, .tfil, .mfil as described in this thread: Error Help. Game Crashing - Forums - World of Warcraft

My problem is I am not used to gaming and I don't know, but realize these games will in all probability have different files for user profiles and you would have to do some research to understand the steps needed to rebuild each one.

Questions; Have you tried Gumbyjunior1's suggestion? And, most importantly other than playing these games, does your machine run okay?

My machine runs fine when not playing games. I updated the WEI and re-ran the DxDiag as well. A friend of mine believes there could be a stray motherboard cable that was left unplugged after installing the graphics card I bought about a year ago, and he will be helping me disassemble my build and reassembling to make sure everything is where it should be. I have been getting several errors while playing various games, but I have not yet tried removing all instances of the Gamecon or Firebox software.

Both DxDiag_JM and Jeepmash\SF_03-04-2013 came back clean of any Dx or .dmp problems.

So I looked into your EventApp.txt and saw two problem signatures:

HID\VID_046D&PID_C22B&REV_0101&MI_00&Col02 involves your Logitech G110keyboard, see if you can find the newest driver for it. Support + Downloads: Gaming Keyboard G110 - Logitech

And,

PCI\VEN_1033&DEV_0194&SUBSYS_50071458&REV_03 is your USB 3.0 Host controller, this link may help: blue screen - I can't take it anymore! dxgmms1.sys Error - Microsoft Community
The answer will explain working with the gigabyte site and their driver agent, pay heed to how Gerry explains the free and paid part of obtaining drivers.

See what you can do for free, and take a snip of the paid and we'll work on them later if you have any.

There were four devices listed by Driveragent as being old and out of date all falling under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers: (four instances of) Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller. The program also lists two other drivers that are old but one is the driver for the Marvell chip that Arc recommended I not update or use, and the other is for a wireless card that I never use at all and in fact keep the device disabled. I have updated my Keyboard driver/software, and I will see if I can get another BSOD to occur before continuing with any other updates.

Alright, I think I will be using BL2 from now on to induce crashes, as there is a specific point in the game where crashes consistently occur :)

Like I said, I have not applied the updates to the old/out of date drivers for the IDE Controllers yet but I would like to hear from you guys on what you think I should do in that regard.

Was your friend able to come over to take a look at your machine?

Remove secdrv, see link for explanation. You may have to do it through Device manager. Then try gaming, crash, no crash?

Crash? Then update these drivers. The Brother Fax is a different link than the other Brother link, the second one should cover the rest of the brother's in the list; if you still have a brother MFC otherwise remove them.

Else if kv shows a trapframe
        use .trap on that value
Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.

Alright, we took a look at the machine and there were a couple of things that may have been causing some issues that we have fixed/changed. I have been running borderlands 2 for a while now and I have been able to progress past points that I was not able to before. I will keep you posted though, fingers crossed! :) Thank you for your help so far.

OK, seems that Borderlands 2 still caused a crash. I have been leaving the game on for extended periods to see if any crashes occur and sure enough after a few hours today, I ran into one...

Your .dmp's show two for BL2 and one for that PLTGC (the headphones), and all related to the Kernel.

Now that you're seeing longer run times while gaming I'm inclined to think this may be heat/stress related since your machine is self-built.

Have you ran any stress tests for the memory or MB/CPU?
Are you sure you applied the thermal paste properly?
How long has it been since you built?

I see you still have secdrv installed can you remove it please?

I've uninstalled secdrv and I also ran Core Temp alongside Borderlands 2 to log the CPU temperatures while I played. I built the machine in 2009. Since then I have had an EVGA Geforce GTX 265, GTX 465, and now a GTX 660ti. I also added 8 GB of RAM and a larger heat sink to the processor. I have not yet tried putting the older heatsink back the CPU to see if the new one is causing an overheat or not... I've run Windows Memory Diagnostic on the RAM with 20 passes which returned no errors/results. I've not run stress tests for the CPU yet though. I've included the log file from Core Temp in the SF diagnostics file.
