While playing multiple games such as 7 days to die, counter strike, league of legends, Dota 2, Starcraft 2, and many others my computer will often randomly get a BSOD, sometimes during an intense part of the game or when I am simply walking somewhere. I've gotten error code 0x00000101 and I got 0x00000124 after using Verifier.

This has been happening for about a year, my brother told me that it was probably my power supply but after I looked into the error codes more I saw that these error codes are mostly for driver errors. This is where I was stumped. I know a little about computers but I had no idea how to find a corrupt driver or even how to find out if that was the problem. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hello and welcome Connor I take it is Connor I cannot see much in the dump files mate but you do mention your brother has queried the PSU now you can check that with this
Using HW Info
You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download < download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts are doing see my pic.
The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel
FOR OTHER COMPONENTS
Open each + down into the component itself and then click on it - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds and other essential info that device. See pic for example it is of my own Ivy Bridge desktop and you need to scroll to that section which gives the volts send a pic if you can please - this is just for starters.

Ok looks like the volts are ok although if you want to be picky the 3.3 line is whisker under voltage. But if it were mine I would not be concerned at least it puts the PSU issue out of the way.

Now I suppose it is down to checking out the drivers.

Ok mate sorry late reply - docs appointment for the board drivers go here http://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/M5A97/HelpDesk_Download/ and at least do the chipset update - it might even tell you that the one listed is older than what you have got. The odd thing is I cannot see any that would deal with the graphics - just so we know you don't have a GPU installed do you?

If you have then the model would be handy to know what it is.

Just out of interest can you check the BIOS version please it should be 0901 for that CPU.

Getting BSOD randomly but mostly while playing games

I recently wiped my computer in hopes of getting rid of the BSOD problem but after I reinstalled the OS and all of my hardware I tried to play a game and got the BSOD again. After I booted up my computer it gave me this error report. Also my computer is randomly freezing.

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 101
BCP1: 0000000000000021
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: FFFFF880030A5180
BCP4: 0000000000000005
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\041715-14554-01.dmp
C:\Users\Connor\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-48235-0.sysdata.xml

I've checked my RAM and I got a new graphics card while this problem was happening and there was no change so I'm guessing it's not that.

I'm not sure what's causing the problem. Any help would be great.
