Solved BSOD while playing MW3, not tried other games though.

Hidden one didn't return, and I just tried uninstalling them all but on reboot the 2 active ones returned.

I do not know why you have two keyboards. I'm guessing something is corrupted in Windows, which is why I suggested a repair install if you continue to have issues.

Edit: the other thing to try before a repair install is setting your BIOS to default settings from within the BIOS and seeing if that stops your BSODs

I'll go try it now with what we've done, if it fails I'll reset the bios and try again, if that fails I'll do a repair and see if that fixes, if that fails I may just toss it out of the window :(

What antivirus do you have on your system? Have you removed any antivirus software? If so, how did you remove it?

I don't use any AV, never have, and I formatted yesterday.

I just crashed again, I sped up the process by running 2 videos while playing, this crashed me after 2 minutes instead of 20.

Looking at the PSU the fan spins so slowly and there's no air coming out the back of it, so I'm thinking that could be the problem.

Could be the problem. You could try buying a PSU and swapping out PSUs and see if it helps. If it does not, you can always return the new one to the store.

Will do. I've been a customer for so long I got free next day shipping, so it'll be here tomorrow. I had to borrow the money since I'm skint, money might not bring happiness, but it would stop me having a migraine right now! :D

How odd, now it won't crash. It seems the problem was MW3 itself, as I didn't crash in Skyrim. I never thought of this as I formatted and reinstalled MW3 from scratch. I reinstalled DirectX from the CoD folder and it was missing a lot of files for some reason.

PSU has shipped so I'm stuck with it, but I was planning to buy the exact same PSU early next year anyway when I build my new PC..... We'll see if it stays fixed.

Does MW3 work now that you fixed the DirectX issue? Or are you afraid to try it with everything else working?

Yep, I've been playing for about an hour with no issues at all. I can't believe it was MW3 all along, I formatted and then redownloaded it from Steam, so I have no idea how or what happened.

It's funny. All the BSODs I get with DirectX issues and that never ends up being the problem; usually it's the graphics card drivers or memory issues. You don't have one DirectX related BSOD, and that was the issue. Glad it is resolved now. :)
