BSOD while playing planet explorers, error 0x00000124

I've just put a new motherboard and cpu in my computer and i've been getting a BSOD normally when i'm in a game but it has happened when it was sitting idle.

It's a fresh install of win 7 ultimate, the ram is older and i thought it might be the cause but windows diagnostic says the rams fine so i'm at a loss.

Are you overclocking?

As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the CPU.

i think that overclocking is the motherboards monitor programs doing but i belive my problem is ram as i took out the stick i added recently and it's not had a bsod for just over a day
