Hi,
I've been receiving BSODs over the last couple of months. It use to once a week but now on average is happening every 2-3 days
I'm generally web browsing in IE, with winamp playing and wow.
Just wondering if anyone can take a look and give me some suggestions.
Cheers.

Hi,
I'm only using MS Security Essentials currently. I was using Eset NOD32 Antivirus before that. Cheers

It doesn't look like Eset was removed correctly

Run their removal tool Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software - ESET Knowledgebase

If that doesn't work uninstall using Revo uninstaller in advanced mode which allows you to delete registry entries of the program Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Perform a System File Check:
  • Click on the start :orb:
  • Type CMD on Search
  • Left click and Run as Administrator
  • Type SFC /scannow
Full tutorial here:
Disk Check on your hard drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:
Reduce items at start-up. Nothing except anti-virus is required:
