Not sure what is causing this, but it happens consistently after playing the game for about 15-20 minutes.

This crash was probably caused by your video driver. I would uninstall it completely and install a fresh copy.

I would also runn a system file check to verify your system files
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and "/"

Hey Zigzag, I saw your response to another thread on here, so I already ran the scannow utility, it came up with nothing wrong. I will try to reinstall the vid driver, the game is reinstalling from steam now, so if that was the problem hopefully it will be fixed.

I didn't think it would be the vid driver as this isn't happening in any other game. I left Battlefield 2 running in windowed mode for about 30min while doing various stuff and it never crashed out.
