Hi all,

I have been continually getting BSODs while multitasking on my computer (example: playing WoW and watching YouTube at the same time). The Blue Screen always lists IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA as the culprits. Blue Screen Viewer states that the issue is with ntoskrnl.exe, though I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I'm currently running virus scans (though nothing has popped up so far). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've attached a dump file for reference.

Hello and welcome Emily look that dump you quoted could mean a myriad if things now first up this please

SYSTEM SPECS ADD IN

Can we have some systemspecs please as what you have posted gives us not that much (or anythingat all with some folks) to work with and given there are so many manufacturersof components and configurations that do influence what goes on within anygiven machine and OS.
System Info - See YourSystem Specs

Now I know you have been scanning but I am not sure what with and as for the AVG well I am not a fan of it at all so please try these

Hi,

Sorry, I should have been more specific when I originally posted.

CPU: Intel Core i7
Motherboard: EVGA -BL-E758
BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Total Memory: 12.0 GB
HDD: 1) ST31000528AS ATA Device; 2) ST31000528AS ATA Device; 3) TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 ATA Device; 4) TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 ATA Device
Sound Card: (1) AMD High Definition Audio Device (2) Realtek High Definition Audio
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

sfc/scannow : Ran 4 times, could not fix all files
Superantispyware: Found 409 tracking cookies, nothing else
Malwarebytes: No threats detected
AdwCleaner: Removed stuff and rebooted

I will run the disk check the next time it reboots; right now my drives are resynching (I have mirrored drives) because it crashed while I was gaming again.

Ok mate the chkdsk is the one that I ma interested in too. The dump you mentioned is an update problem which basically is telling us nothing it requires more digging around before we can pin it down to the culprit and why I would like that chkdsk out of the way.

Now as well it might be an idea to re-seat all RAM sticks and cards of whatever sort.

Just as matter of interest how old is this machine and the RAM is it DDR3 at what MHz?
