OniSama,

Welcome to SevenForums

While we look at the file you submitted:

We need you to help us to help you:

Carry out following please:
Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
(left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

In the System Manufacturer Block, enter:
Ø Manufacturer and Model OR Custom build.
Ø ADD the word laptop, desktop, netbook or tablet.
For example:
Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

With Speccy, you can select with your mouse/touchpad info from the display
and paste that info into your specs.

SIW is a marvelous program, but the free version does not offer
this capability.

initial look shows TDR error which is a video timing error.
This can be caused by other factor such as your AV software or other peer 2 peer programs running or such programs as Stream and group game-playing programs.

After and ONLY after filling in those specs, then:
Install CCleaner:

OniSama,

Excellent that this thread was relocated in the correct forum. My oversight was that I did not immediately request the relocation.
===================================
====================================
WIN | type MSCONFIG | ENTER | STARTUP tab |
Uncheck ALL except for:
PHP:
Sidebar    Microsoft Corporation    C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe /autoRun
MSC Microsoft Corporation "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\msseces.exe" -hide -runkey

REBOOT!

You have just told Win 7 to not run unchecked programs at start up time.

You have not disabled the programs. They will be run when needed.

WIN = key with the Microsoft logo on top

=============================
=============================
After and ONLY after that reboot is finished, then

CCLEANER | TOOLS icon | STARTUP tab | SCHEDULED TASKS tab |
Use DISABLE button to disable ALL except for:
PHP:
CCleanerSkipUAC    Piriform Ltd    "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe" $(Arg0)
SidebarExecute    Microsoft Corporation    C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe

Close CCleaner.

REBOOT!

You have not disabled any programs. You have disabled the scheduled running.
Later, after your system is running smoothly, you may reenable desired programs.

====================================
=====================================

After and ONLY after completion of that reboot, then:

UNINSTALL

PHP:
Smart Defrag 2    IObit    19/9/2012    10.9 MB    2.5

REBOOT

The only truly safe, under all circumstances, defragmenters are:
1) the defragmenter built into Win 7 and
2) Contig from the SysInternals team at Microsoft.

Hi karlsnooks,

Have just completed everything, hopefully all the random BSOD doesn't occur anymore. Will update within few days or if the BSOD occurs again. Many thanks for the help!
