Hi ecosta-

Go to Accessories. Right click on Command Prompt and select "run as administrator."

Type in sfc /scannow and let it run. Does it find any problems?

Hi wither 2!

Thanks for relpy!

YES! I find problems!

I perfom the "sfc/ scannow" and the program shows follow:

"Windows Resources Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are include in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.Log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.Log."

Any tips to fix SO?

Thanks in advance.

Are you still getting the BSOD?

If so, run the scan two more times, rebooting after each time it runs.

If you still get the BSOD, please provide the cbs.log file.

Hi

yes! still getting the BSOD.

I run the scan two times, rebooting after each time it runs and BSOD occurs when shutting down...

each time sfc/ scannow runs, shows same message:

"Windows Resources Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are include in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.Log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.Log."

I attached the cbs.log file(format *.rar).

In Control Panel, Device Manager, Display Adapters, NVIDIA...................... are there any errors (yellow/black ? mark) shown?

You said this happens when you're shutting down the computer. I assume you mean that you're purposely shutting it down and then the BSOD occurs. Is that true?

It's readily apparent it's having a problem securing the graphics card during shutdown.

Try this-

Press Win + R
Type eventvwr.msc
Go to Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > Diagnostics / Performance > Operational. (You need to double click on each category to open it)
Sort the 'Task Category' column alphabetically.
Double click on the latest error/warning under the category 'Shutdown Performance Monitoring'

Could you provide a screenshot of the cause of the problem?

Click on Task Category to sort the files by category. You don't have it sorted.

Also, when you find the one that's stopping it, provide a screen shot of what's in the General tab. That usually provides the specific cause.

Well, I no longer see any reference to the graphics card driver. It now appears to be related to a logitech file although I can't say for sure that's the cause of the BSOD. You might reinstall your logitech software.

Talk to you when you get time.

Merry Christmas!
