Solved BSOD with BCC 124

Hi,

I came to knew about this forums while searching for the BSOD error code and found this site very helpful for many users that arent that techy, feels good to be here but that would be great if i can fix this problem,

earlier i was able to use my system normally, but recently whenever it boots and goes to desktop after 1-2 minutes it lands up on BSOD page with BCC 124, i was so worried that i even tried to reinstall windows then i got another error , dont remember the error code but it was either F7 OR 7F, the stack overrun thing,i can boot up in safe mode and using the windows atm from there, i have upload the files with SF diagnostics tool, hope we can fix this out.

Lenova OEM running on Gigabyte motherboard.

I'd start with purchasing and installing a genuine version of Windows 7. You are less likely to receive these issues if you start with a genuine installation of the OS.

I will definitely get a genuine OS soon this festive season and hopefully with some discount on it, but how to fix it for now, if possible plz tell me what lenovo oem running on giga motherboard means...thanks for ur help

Tracking down and fixing the problem on a non-genuine installation is close to worthless.

If I get a genuine os right now and try installing it that will also land me up on another bsod, so for installing a proper one needs this to be fixed first, I have tried installing it with many media's but same results everytime

Not necessarily.....some BSOD's are caused by the cracked software installed to the system. Its impossible to tell until you start by installing a genuine Windows 7.

I have already uninstalled all 3rd party software other than free avira and nvidia drivers
but still m landing up on bsod when trying instaling windows

Download the ISO which you plan to purchase here. Now format the entire hard disk and reinstall.

Even after installing that window after clean hdd I am getting same error and this time I cannt even boot in safe mode as well, plz help

1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:

2. Run the tool, and then click Copy - ignore any errors if they appear

3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the tool here in your next reply

Create a bootable version of Partition Wizard, and scan the HDD for errors.
