Hi All, new member looking for help with BSODs.
my system is not new, i've had it since 2010 and haven't experienced any problem with BSODs prior to this (maybe once in a blue moon, but not as often as now) but i've been swapping graphics cards pretty frequently, depends on which ever comes to my hand.
recently changed a PSU, but other hardware is untouched.

Started getting BSOD's last month, and once i get 1 bsod, i will restart and get a couple more in succession, then i just give up, switch it off and turn it on the next day.
I was getting weird messages too, like your sound card is not working (on spotify) but after a restart its all ok, just that there is a persistent whine in my speakers now.

I'm quickly uploading some of the photos i've taken of the blue screens and hoping a random bsod doesn't hit me before i finish this post...

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Well surprised to see you here...You originally said this issue started when you put in two new video cards?

You really need to take your videos cards out one at a time and see if the problems continue. If you've done that and still not found the source of the problem then I'd certainly agree with the posts referring to memtest, its a good util for checking your system RAM.

This is your custom built PC? What is your PSU eg 300W, 400W, more?

Are you sure you meet the power requirements of running two AMD cards, check the AMD website for the requirements and make sure your PSU exceeds their recommendation. It's not always easy to workout how large your PSU needs to be as it depends how much hardware you have inside the case but if you're unsure then its best to go with the AMD/nVidia recommendations. It could be as simple as your PSU not being able to provide enough power, or the power is fluctuating.

It could be that you have AMD video cards but still have some nVidia drivers installed? If that is still the case then try downloading a product called "Driver Sweeper" it will find all your AMD, nVidia, Intel, SoundBlaster etc drivers and give you options to remove them. Even if this doesn't resolve your issue at the very least it will help eliminate a conflict as a possible cause.

BSOD's are always best solved by actually examining the .dmp files, and not guessing at the causes and solutions

Norton is a well-known cause of BSOD's on many systems, including yours. Uninstall it completely, and replace it with MSE.

It may be triggering the other BSOD1a's, but I cannot tell until we get past the Norton-induced one. If you get more BSOD's, upload a new ZIP file and send me a PM to follow up.

Are you experiencing high CPU usage just prior to the BSOD?
