Hello, I am new to the forums here and am having great difficulty with my new computer. It is only a month old and has been crashing since I got it. I have done a full windows wipe twice. It seldom crashes when I am just on the internet, but will always crash when I try to install updates from SWTOR (Star Wars the Old Republic).

My Ethernet controller and USB need drivers, yet when I try to windows update them it says they cannot find the drivers. Not sure if this is what is causing the crash.

One of the BSOD team members will stop by soon to analyze your .dmps. For now, you can find all of the updates you need for your MoBo(ethernet controller and USB) here.

There is also BIOS updates available, click the download type and select BIOS.

Also, if you are using any of the Gigabyte Utilities, such as EasyTune and Smart6, please stop using them and uninstall them. After doing the updates and removing the utilities, you may find stability. Post back with results.

You did not respond to this. Are you using EasyTune or any of the other Gigabyte utilities. The Fault you mention is common with overclocking.

Okay, I would actually like just a snip of the HWMonitor window with the minimum and maximum temps showing. I want to see the temps on the Motherboard sensors. BTW, you have great processor temps.

To use the Sniping tool, in the Windows search box, type "snip" and you will see the snipping tool. Once it opens, click on one corner of the are you want to capture and release it on the opposing corner. After doing so, select "save as" name the file what ever you would like. Then upload that image.

Okay, if that is with a load (game or something else heavy running), then your temps look great. Someone should be along shortly to pull your .dmps.

Just to qualify my asking for your temps, I have seen two circumstances of your exact board overeating and causing bsods. Thanks for your patience.

Nope, I was right. It's your temps. See how hot your MoBo is getting. You need to RMA the PC. It's brand new and under warranty. Wow, I just noticed your CPU temps also, 78 degrees Celsius is about 8 higher than the max safe. You need to call iBUYPOWER ASAP!

Those temps are insanly high for that chip that is 17c higher then max temps By the way max is 61c

First off if you are just crashing and you see temps that high i would assume the thermal paste wasn't applied right or the heatsink isn't on right or it just stinky blows

Max temps gaming for me overclocked at 4.5 Ghz barley touch 53c
So im gathering someone dropped the ball on your build if you can get them to replace the cpu and board and use paste you select and cooler you select make sure to have the supervisor of the department works on your machine or atleast his top man
