BSOD with iPhone and iTunes updated with minidump

Thank you for letting me know the correct way to notify a BSOD problem. I *think* I've attached the correct information - please accept my apologies in advance if I haven't.
I'm running Windows 7 on a brand new laptop.
I got the first BSOD when attempting to download pictures from my iPhone to the laptop. Approximately 3-4 photos downloaded and then the BSOD appeared. I restarted the computer and attempted to repeat the process, but it blue screened again. I am unable to download pictures from my iPhone at all.
The computer also does the BSOD when I attempt to open any photos that were downloaded onto the computer prior to the first BSOD.
This problem first appeared at the end of January - up until that time the iPhone was working perfectly with the laptop.
In the past week and a half or so, I have been getting a consistent BSOD when attempting to listen to music using iTunes, download from the iTunes store and transfer music from my iPod to the laptop.
There is another problem which may (or may not) be contributing to the BSOD.
My iPhone, iPod and original iTunes accounts were set up on a desktop computer, which is now cactus and may not be able to be revived My iPhone will charge on the laptop, but it will not sync, nor back up nor collect any updates from iPhone. I have the same issue with the iPod. I have iTunes home-sharing turned on on both computers, but it appears to only work when the desktop AND laptop are on, and obviously, since the desktop is cactus, it isn't on. I have no idea how to make the laptop the primary computer for those devices.
I have attached the minidump folder as requested and I am hoping that someone will be able to help.
I'm running Windows 7, with MSE and BigPond Security, but we are planning to ditch BigPond Security as MSE seems to be working very nicely (and it's cheaper!!).
Please let me know if I have missed mentioning something glaringly obvious, or if additional info is needed

You have two distinct problems.

1-ntfs.sys
Usual causes: Disk corruption, insufficient physical memory, Device driver, Indexing, Resident antivirus, backup, defrag programs, Disk/Drive failing/failure

2-apc_index_mismatch
Usual causes drivers.


I would first run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
to do that type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow (note the space between the SFC and "/")

Let us know the results.

When we fix this we can move on to the other problem

Hi Ken,
I have done as requested and the scan completed.
I got the following message:
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations

I have also installed two updates that I didn't know needed installing and am about to start a virus scan.
Will let you know the results.

This is what I have done/tried so far:
1. See post #2 and #3 on this thread
2. Updated through Action Center - 2 updates were pending, they have both been installed. Computer BSOD halfway through so I had to do it again, one update at a time
3. Full virus check - no virus detected
4. Defragged
5. Scheduled a disk error check via c drive>properties etc BUT got the following message when I restarted the computer:
disk check scheduled...
disk check cancelled...
Then the computer started as usual.
I copied the minidump file again with the updated info after today's BSsOD, but every time I have attempted to zip it to attach to this post I've got a BSOD.
I would be so grateful for any help on this. I can't access any photos at all, cannot do anything with my iPod or iPhone except charge them and iTunes is persistently BSOD.
