Solved BSOD with new Firefox

My laptop has been running slow for a while. Now I just updated Firefox & I get BSOd when I try to start firefox. Older version would stop responding. While trying to resolve the issue I found that I didn't have any backups saved except one from 2013. This is because space for backups was set to 0. After running a diagnostic it said superfetch wasn't running. Hard drive did have bad spots. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please run chkdsk_ALL_Parameters.bat [OPTION 4] from here => My Useful Batch Scripts and then upload the results using the tutorial at the bottom of the above link [Upload to SevenForums] and someone will look at it for you.

There is further information in Post #1.

What is the reason that you ran them a few times?

Please remove the USB devices.

I would like to have a look at the health of the drive.
Please go to Download – Crystal Dew World and click the blue zip button which will download a portable version of CrystalDiskInfo. Extract the zip file and run diskinfo64.exe which will ask for administrator rights, please allow it.
CrystalDiskInfo uses 3 colors for indication

  • Blue = good
  • Yellow = warning
  • Red = bad

A little below the menu you'll see drives with each a circle with a color, if any of these is NOT blue please click it.
Before making a screenshot, please do the following
- Go to function > Advanced feature > raw values, change it to 10 [DEC]
- Make sure all attributes are clearly visible
Make a screenshot of CrystalDiskInfo and post this screenshot in your next post.

Don't know. I just ran the different disk scans & any other troubleshooter I had. Then I removed the old & new firefox. I had a problem reinstalling firefox, since computer thought that I had win7/32 & /64 running at the same time. I still can't backup through.
