"0x00000008, or Double Fault, indicates that an exception occurs during a call to the handler for a prior exception. Typically, the two exceptions are handled serially. However, there are several exceptions that cannot be handled serially, and in this situation the processor signals a double fault. There are two common causes of a double fault:

If you used any pacthes, manual or automatic, to tweak your TCP connection limit or similar, undo that change.

So the main question I guess is, did you patch anything?

there is teredo pseudo tunneling interface... as network adapter ( in device manager )
in win xp there was no such thing!! so i disabled it.
Also there is another unknown device but i fail to recognise it, since i dont have any pci things, so that leaves cpu, vga, ram, hdd, and all these are recognised.

Right click on the unknown device in device manager. Properties. Details tab. Change dropdown to hardware ids. Copy and paste results here. I can get you a driver for it like this. So at least we could fix that part of it up. (I bet it's a card reader.)

What I mean is, did you run any type of patcher in an attempt to have more open connections or something like that?

i installed zone alarm firewall(trial )
nothing else comes to my mind.
Ran windows updater - and the unknown device was some kind of infrared stuff lol i didnt bothered to read.

Ya, ZA is working excellently here but others had a problem with a different version etc...

I'd try completely uninstalling that to see how it goes after, as a test.

Yeah, as soon as you mentioned it, I had a strong feeling about it. That's how antivirus and firewall apps are. If they don't work well on a system, they really don't work well.
