BSODS are a joy?~

sigh.. so here i am again.
all was good with no crashes til today. turned it on this morning... **queue flashback sequence**

turned it on.. expecting it to work. sat at the loading windows screen for ages.. so RESET button it was.
rebooted to black screen with option to run the windows repair or 'start windows normally'.. i opted for repair..
screen blinked.. and nothing.. so i tried again.. same result. so 'starting windows normally' it was. Windows loaded with the wrong resolution. 800x600... logged in.. and all i got was a black screen. 'something wrapper' had crashed.. sorry i cant remember what it was called.. and also explorer had crashed. Tried task manager to reload explorer but that would crash too. So all i could do was ctrl+alt+tab and hit the restart..
restarted and ran windows normally.. which resulted in a chkdsk..
fixed some indexes during stage 2. but during stage 3 and unexpected error occured and chkdsk stopped...
windows continued to load up.. then BSOD.
and now it's non stop BSODs..
i cant choose the windows repair cause it just blinks and stays on the same screen.. and if i choose start windows normally it BsODS..

on a few of the BSODS i saw memory_management about 1/5 the way down the screen..

any ideas?

I'm still thinking that it's hardware.
Please run these hardware diagnostics if you haven't already:
Memory Diagnostics
HD Diagnostic

I'm still wondering about the video errors and a relation to memory errors.
Are you able to try another video card?

Memory dumps are:
STOP 0x1E: BSOD Index
STOP 0x1A: BSOD Index
STOP 0x24: BSOD Index

well i'm back with the update. last nite.. multiple reboots on startup..
sigh.. my mates about ready to give up on computers..
well i've run the HDD test and windows 7 memory diagnostics previously ... but i just checked that the link u posted on 'memory diagnostics' has the win7 mem test crossed out..
so i'm dropping by his place later to run the memtest and hdd tests again..
if they pass then i'm ripping the mobo out and getting it replaced.

just an update...

so having swapped the gfx card and HDD over... the system still crashed at my buddy's place. So I ran it over to another friends place and swapped the ram (cause i dont have DDR3). no crash... so we rebuilt his pc as it was.. and no crash.. for 2 days.. OC'd and still no crash.. if anything it was very stable while running benchmarking software...

In the end... we reckon it could be a power issue within the property itself.. cause his lights have been blowing a lil more then regular...
SOOOO... currently waiting on a techie from the power company...
ZZzZZzZzzZZZ...
5 weeks of testing and all this time it doesn't seem like it's a pc hardware issue at all.. zzzzz....

will post update on the whole power check.. but in regards to that... can anyone suggest a decent UPS unit?

I've had a Cyberpower unit for many years and it's worked great for me.
I've also got a GeekSquad unit at my wife's office and at home - and they've run great for the last year or so.

The key here is redundant protection - so when one thing blows you don't lose all protection (this happened at my wife's office a couple of years ago). The UPS's usually are equipped w/resetting functions - so you won't lose protection - but surge protectors won't usually have a reset function (and that's how I lost a bunch of hardware at the wife's office).
