I have been getting a fair amount of bsods ever since i reinstalled my os on my ssd. dont get me wrong i was getting the same amount when i was running the os on my old hdd. it seems to happen at different times doing different things from surfing the web to playing games etc. I dont know if the issues that are causing my bsods are the same ones that are causing some of my games to crash as well hopefully i can get all my bsods fixed.

Driver Reference Table - USBPORT.SYS ...

For this one, I will suggest you two things ... http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/91738-windows-update-reset.html and http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/147369-usb-selective-suspend-turn-off.html to narrow down the possibility of judging if it is a hardware ora software behind the crash .

One more cause is Driver Reference Table - nvlddmkm.sys . Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers and update your display driver .

Moreover, try these things also ....

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
RAM - Test with Memtest86+
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

so far so good, i ran memtest86+ went thru 13 passes with no errors. i turned off the usb selective suspend and havent had any crashes so far. also ran driver verifier for 2 days with no crashes. so looks like it was the selective usb causing all the headaches.

Let us informed if there are further BSODs you got :)

It was expected that usb selective suspense will do the trick .

Did you try driver verifier?
And did you look for an update on your BIOS version?

Yes, you need to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

could it be possible that my network adapter is going out? currently i cannot connect to my router, i changed my ethernet cable twice and still nothing reinstalled my drivers twice with no avail, when i check the status of the network card thru device manager it says its working fine, but it will not connect to my router via ethernet. internet is working and wireless is working fine. computer was working earlier then just completely stopped.
