Solved BSODs persist after clean install

I memtested the RAM in this pc ages ago after the first failures. It survived 8 passes. Despite that, and mystified by the way things had developed, I decided just to replace the RAM and see what happened and guess what? ... no more crashes. I have learned yet another lesson. Thank you Boozad for your assistance. It was truly appreciated, as is the help of all the mavens on this invaluable site.
