Hi Seven Forums!
I'm new to the site and I also have absolutely no idea what else to do at this point.

In July of 2011, I'd purchased an HP ENVY 17 2090nr 3D Laptop, and have never had a single hardware or software issue with it since. (With the exception of overheating, which was a relatively easy thing to deal with.) But since March of this year, out of nowhere, its...

Crashed repeatedly, and because of a few different drivers every other time.
-- The most common one being ntoskrnl.exe

Been reinstalled 3 times.
-- Once of my own volition, the others because I had no choice-- the second crash was so bad that Windows 7 was wiped out of my system completely. The third time was because I'd improperly installed Windows 7 on (as I understand it) what was half of my total hard drive space, 1.35TB. After deleting an old volume and then making a new one, guess what? I needed to reinstall Windows 7, but I digress.

Even after reinstalling 3 times, it's still giving me BSODs left and right, which has sadly forced me to believe that this is more than just a software issue, but I'm clearly not the expert here. Attached are my dump files and anything else that may be needed to determine what specifically is causing these crashes, per the requirements outlined here.

Please, PLEASE help me. At the moment this is the only computer I have access to for my animation courses and if there's any possible way that I can fix it-- even if it means sending it to HP for repair-- then I need to know what to do as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi LDbro92.

There are multiple BSODs, multiple bugcheck codes, multiple failing things. All the failing elements have their grounds to fail, but in this situation you need to test the health of the RAM at first.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors. Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Let us know the result.

UPDATE: Minutes after posting my last reply, my computer crashed, and now I have nothing but a black screen that reads...
"No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key"

Thats's the same message I saw before I reinstalled Windows 7 last week. I'd be more upset if I had important files on the laptop, but this is still insanely frustrating.

I think it will be the best that you take the laptop to a service center.

Such issues will require opening the laptop and testing/replacing parts, which will be risky if you try it yourself.

I was afraid it would come to that, but it looks like I have no choice at the moment. Thanks for your help, Arc! =]
