I've been getting several BSODs, which I've been getting help with, but the cause seems to be from a program I never had (Never even heard of it). My computer has also been getting a little slow lately, and have huge problems installing drivers unless in safe mode. All malware scanners I've used haven't found anything, but I feel like there's something not right. Is there a way you guys could help me?

Edit: Thought I should mention that the program I really don't think I ever had was a Sunbelt/GFI firewall. These are the files from it: SBFWIM.sys, SbFw.sys, and SBREdrv.sys.

It seems that you have already carried out a virus check and found nothing. Which A-V are you using?

Have you done a System File Check? If not then please run SFC / Scannow in the elevated mode and post back the results.

I scanned with Norton 360 while I was using it, when I changed to Microsoft Security Essential, I scanned with that. I've also used Malwarebytes, SUPERAntispyware, and Spybot. I've used Adaware somewhat recently as well.

Yes, I have, and it found no problems.

I found some odd startup entries a few weeks ago, and when I deleted them, boot time was much faster. I think they were related to a game I played a long time ago.

you may have conflict issues between MSE, Spybot, and Norton.
Get rid of norton and spybot, and add Sandboxie free;)

I got rid of Norton and Spybot a while ago. :) I downloaded sandboxie, and installed it, but what does it really do? I'm actually running a Trend Micro Housecall scan now. I'll be sure to let you know the results.

Sandboxie will protect you from malware while surfing. It wont conflict with most A/Vs,and is strong enough to run with just your firewall.
Also, get rid of Adaware, its crap.

I removed Adaware. The Housecall scan found TROJ_FAKEAV.BMC, but it should be fixed now. Are there any more scanners you can recommend?

1. surf from an SUA/LUA account only
2. set UAC to max
3. set DEP for all
4. use MSE for A/V
5. on demand only scanners- Malwarebytes, superantispyware, eset free on line, emsisoft, hitman pro.
6. Most important part.........Sandboxie.......never open your browser without it.
7. with whats going on in the world, it might be a good idea to concider staying away from software which comes from countries about to enter a civil war ie: Europe.
