Build 7048 WMP won't play midi files

These files were created by the Lilypond music typesetting program, they play fine with WMP from builds 7000 and 7022 or from previous versions of Windows, and WMP still plays WMA and MP3 files fine, but trying to play a MID file with WMP results in an error dialog containing Close and "Web Help" buttons and the text "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file". Clicking on Web Help takes me to the page Microsoft Windows Media - Web Help.

None of the reasons listed on that page seem applicable - sound device is fine as I can play other format files, and the midi files themselves are fine as they played ok on previous builds of Windows 7 and and play ok if I take them to another machine running WinXP.

Confirmed here (though I'll admit it really took me a while to find any MID files on my network to test with).

You can use the same keys for build 7000 on 7022, 7048, 7057 & 7068. It will also activate 100% and expires March 2010.

If you need a key I can PM you 1. But it wont be till later this evening. :)
