The original specs I posted will be a spot on PC, and as you say you can always upgrade parts in the future.

Of course these are just my personal choices, maybe others will be along soon and give some other recommendations.

Not bad, xJaMeSeY!

I'd choose the GTX 560 Ti, but the good thing is that an HD6950 is unlockable to an HD6970 and that is a good thing.

Plus, i'd choose instead of a P67 board, a Z68 one, you have the K series processor so that means that you can use the integrated chip on the CPU (Intel HD 3000) and use it for video encoding (accelerating the process)

Maybe a Gigabyte or ASUS Z68 board

Answers:

1) depends on the resolutions and the settings
2) again, depends on the resolutions and settings
3) of course, minecraft is not a high graphics demanding game
4) i really can't tell you how much, but is going to easily exceed your £500 budget.

Hello again.

In the previous thread I recommended a P8P67 pro motherboard, the one you listed above is the Matx version and also the Gigabyte board you have listed is Matx.

If you are going for the case I recommended and not a Matx case then I would suggest you look for full size ATX motherboards, they are the norm and have a few advantages over Matx such as being easier to work on and keeping certain components further apart thus reducing heat.

If you are going to go the Z68 Gigabyte route then this would be good - Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P Intel Z68 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard - Aria Technology

This depends on the set up after all is said and done

You have the drivers updates Bios updates

Untill all that has been worked out then you will know how it will perfom compared to another which testing and Benchmarks will give you the numbers

I understand you just want the best but buying a 560ti then upgrading to a 570 would be a waste

You can just go with the 6950 unlock the shader cores and you will be running like a 560 ti anyway

It is up to you what you think will perfrom better in the long run also if you have the tech skill to open up extra shaders and have the time to go though all the proper chanels for a top notch unit

These are the things i go by you can get all the Badest stuff out there but if everything isn't properly worked out a smug system with less bells and whistle will still trump you ,just something to throw out there

I would honestly go with a two drive system myself. Keep your System and apps separate from your game drive. Should reduce the load times on your games as you aren't going to have your system banging away at the bandwidth along with your games.

If you are multi-tasking as well, you should have your non-gaming apps run off the system drive, and shouldn't see too much stuttering in the system.
