Built-in webcam no longer working on Toshiba laptop

I don't know when it happened, but at some point my built-in webcam has completely stopped working. I've looked online and can't find any solution to the problem. And i'll just get this out of the way now, I looked in Device Manager, and it's not even there anymore. I have no idea what to do.
