I have recently purchased a new laptop and I was installing windows update then my brother from next door bedroom was jumping on the floor(up and down) causing floor vibration movement, I'm a bit worried if this can damage the laptop components/hard drive. The desk legs are leaning on the wall but not the desk.

Its highly doubtful it will cause any damage - modern hardware is designed to withstand some of these daily bumps.
