cable connects and disconnects

Hi. I have a problem with my internet connection. On my local area connection it shows cable unpluged and then enabled every second. I tried multiple cables and the problem still persists. Before i had this problem my pc wouldn't boot so i removed the round battery on the mobo for a few minutes to reset the bios. I don.t think that has to do anything with the intenet problem though. Please help

From your computer's Device Manager, fiddle with the 'Link Speed & Duplex' setting (by default it's on Auto Negotiation) of your Ethernet adapter. Feel free to change and test it out after. See image attached.

I tried with 10 mbs half duplex and now it shows unidentified network. After diagnose it says something about the ip

10 Mbps will be too slow, have you tried the 100 Full Mbps?

What's the exact error about the IP?
