OK, if I read that right, you are missing the Windows 7 Boot Animation. I'm not sure if these links will help but its some place to start.

Oh, thats not DOS, there is no DOS in Windows 7. There is a command shell that you can launch from Windows but its not DOS. The first text based screen you see during boot up is the BIOS POST screen and or your Video cards BIOS screen.

Yes its to run in my car . I read the instructions and it says it won't work in dos. I got the screen used and so it only came with a screen stand and a damaged CD lol. I'll just have to install my flip down. Thanks guys

Ah, OK, USB connected, thats why it doesn't show the post screen. The drivers aren't loaded until windows is close to loading the desktop.

As far as I know your monitor has to be connected to the PCs onboard video card in order for it to display the BIOS screen. Your USB display has an internal video card that gets its data though the USB port. The BIOS doesn't have the ability to drive it that way. Windows doesn't either until it loads the driver, and that doesn't happen until its almost ready to display your desktop or logon screen.
