Hi everyone,
There's a CentOS 6.6 machine running which is our ftp server. The smb protocol is configured correctly and everyone (Windows environment) on the network can access the share from this CentOS machine using the name of the machine.
However, one of the machines (Windows 7, 64-bit) can only connect using ip address, instead of the name.
I added the entry in \etc\hosts to have the ftp server ( 192.168.168.100 hostname HOSTNAME ), flushed dns and removed arpcache, but the problem is still here.
Any ideas how to resolve the issue?
Thanks in advance.
